Dancehall artiste Chino’s work has been doing well not only in the local, US and European markets, but also in Japan.

Chino, who is known for hits like From Mawning (Never Change), Pon Yuh Head, Protected, Ruff It Up,We Nuh Like Dem featuring Di Genius, Before Dem Gone and others, was chosen as the first dancehall-reggae artiste to have his work featured on one of Japan’s biggest ringtone sites, Recochoku.

Calgary Reggae Festival on its seventh staging

Harsh winters and ice hockey come readily to mind when the Canadian city of Calgary comes up, but promoters of the Calgary Reggae Festival (CRF) are pushing to make their annual show a marquee event.

The seventh staging of the CRF is scheduled for August 19-21 at the Shaw Millennium Park, with Beres Hammond and the veteran Inner Circle band down as headliners.
