“Anytime the reggae family come together, you know it’s gonna be this kind of weather,” proclaimed living legend Bunny Wailer, the only surviving member of the original Wailers, during a midpoint in his satisfying solo set. The weather, eerily mirroring the Irie vibes of the occasion, was indeed gorgeous on that Saturday evening. Accordingly, any onlooker was treated to skimpy fashion that ran the gamut from sun dresses to booty shorts, with plenty of open-toe sandals visible. But then what’s a reggae festival without the preponderance of flip-flops and the pungent scent of recreational marijuana?
