A little over a quarter of a century ago, four enterprising Jamaican reggae aficionados had the vision of staging a summer reggae festival which would lure visitors to the island and exposing them to the pulsating Jamaican beat while they soaked up the sun, sea and sand and Jamaican hospitality.
